Q: When is the library open?
A: The hours for the library are as follows:
Monday: 7:30 A.M. – 2:30 P.M.
Tuesday: 7:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
Wednesday: 7:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
Thursday: 7:30 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.
Friday: 7:30 A.M. – 3:45 P.M.
Q: How do I check out an item?
A: In order to check out an item from the library you will need your student ID/Activity card.
Q: How long can I borrow an item?
A: You can borrow and item for 3 weeks. After that you must either return the item or renew it. You get one renewal per item.
Q: What are the overdue fines?
A: There are no overdue fines. If an item is lost or damaged the replacement cost for the book will be added as a library fine.
Q: I need to use the computer and/or to print for a school project. What do I need to do?
A: Students can use the library computers for class projects and research. Every student is provided $7.00 per year for printing from the school district. The cost for printing is $.10 per black and white page and $.35 per color page. Once the student used the allotted $7.00 they must add funds to their account through the bookkeeping office.
Q: When is tutoring offered?
A: Tutoring is offered after school Tuesday through Thursday from 3:30 – 4:10. Talk to your teacher and discuss a time to meet for tutoring help.
Q: How are library materials selected?
A: Please visit the Twin Falls District policy manual for details regarding selection of library materials. You can find this information in policy numbers 2500-2530. You can also find the School Library Bill of Rights 1969 here.
